Safety

Having competent, trained workers is critical to a safe work place. Our highly experienced erectors receive intensive competent persons training along with the OSHA 10 and 30 hour courses and MSHA training. In addition to the Basic Safety Principles, Steel City Scaffold continuously implements safety practices on the jobsite and throughout its organization with:

FALL PROTECTION PLAN – Prior to beginning work our employees thoroughly survey the job site and develop a safe work plan that integrates safety.

SCAFFOLD CHECK LIST – Once scaffold is complete and green tagged, we walk the project with the onsite superintendent and show them how to use our safety check list. This will help them monitor all the trades working on the scaffold.

SAFETY PERSONNEL – in the field daily to ensure that we provide the safest and most reliable project solutions.

EDUCATION – We believe in educating our customers, as well as our employees. We continue to develop innovative and safer work methods that continue to be trusted throughout the industry.
